Ulu
About impossible to thread this through the tiny hole in the Duval. I ruined the entire thing trying.
Maybe consider putting a tip on the end that actually fits through the lanyard holes in your knives? Very frustrating and a waste of money.
My 2nd Lu
Ok, Ok, OK, I gave the first stainless steel Ulu 3 stars clothed in a 5 star review. Hence my reason for purchasing my 2nd Lu for my Ellis. The Ulu gives it yet another advantage beside the almost-sharp- enough blade and the nice scissors all in black, hence the choice of the all black Lu the for my second purchase. Now I just tug on my Lu and voila! My hand draws forth and fills with the Ellis. Yes, there are lots of paracord combinations and beads etc., but I like the James name and logo congregating. The Ellis looked lonely. Not now. Skip to my Lu.
Simple and elegant
Great product. Does it's job well
My Lu
OK, ok, ok. It could be a five, sort of. I purchased The Carter, the one sold-out (did I get the last one, whew!?). I love The Carter in Green Micarta, stainless steel. Elegant. I did not want to remove the pocket clip and replace it with the lanyard "clip" device in order to add the Ulu. Not sure what made the designer(s) choose the "either or". So I just improvised and attached the Ulu to the pocket clip. Et voila! As for the Ulu. Yes, it's well fabricated as the entire line of TJB creations are. However, I would have preferred a variety or combinations of cords that might allow a variety of combinations with the variety of versions of The Carter. Narrowing down to two, in my opinion, contradicts the elegant designs available and a variety of Ulus might allow one to arrange a total look that reflects one's aesthetic preferences, i..e., variety of cord colors. So I gave it three (3) stars for feeling confined to two choices. But in my heart it could be a five (5) star. Now to the quality of the Ulu. It's a five. Beautifully fabricated. I am happy overall with my Ulu. Enjoy the logo consistency when fabricating my own paracord with a bead might have permitted more another look, I am happy with the total look. One could call it a LuLu (any one old enough to remember what that means - in the positive). PS, no photos because nothing I have been able to accomplish allows me to update the variety of photos I took -- too bad.

Great useful tie to secure my knife. High quality well made products that you would expect from The James Brand.
