The carabiner reimagined.
The Mehlville was created from scratch to stand apart from any other carabiner on the market. A dual compartment construction securely locks keys into place while the machined billet design allows for a high level of strength.
Brass is best!
Overall its a great product. The clip is springy yet strong, the double lock is great, and it's a nice size. Now this is where material matters, it's a nice weight and feels great in the hand, but I went with brass for the heavier feel. Also the brass seems to have the best little bottle popper design. Still doesn't work the best, but better than the others. Plus, the patina.
Sleek and black and well-crafted. Lighter in weight than it looks. Feels secure. I've already become accustomed to it; won't be going back to my old solution.
Haven't' tried the bottle cap opener – yet.
Would definitely recommend.
Black looks cheap after a few months
The black coating rubs off pretty quickly. It doesn’t look broken in or well-loved. It looks like those cheap, colored carabiners do after a few weeks of use. If that will bother you, I’d go with the silver. They will not exchange it for you later - I asked. Also, the bottle opener is a pain
It’s worth it.
Yeah, $60 is a lot for a carabiner. But when you get this after ordering it, you’ll understand exactly why. It feels solid and sturdy, like the MacBook of carabiners. It’s sleek. It’s functional and I use it to pop open a gratuitous amount of Topo Chicos on the daily. Get it. It’ll be the last carabiner you ever need.
Rugged and utilitarian. Very nice product!
