The James interpretation of the legendary liner-lock.
Featuring slim scales and a steel liner-lock, the Folsom is ready to be put through the paces. With an ambidextrous blade opening slot, a reversible clip, tip-up carry, and serious gripping power, this is a blade you'll find in your EDC on the regular.
It's been a while since I've had a pocket knife that I wanted to carry every day. The smaller ones I used didn't have a long enough blade and ones with the right blade were too heavy. The Folsom is light and tough. I don't even notice its weight in my pocket and that's great.
Another Quality Product James
This is my third knife from James. Their products are well designed and practical. The Folsom is a low profile lock back knife. It's lighter in weight than some of my other lock backs, but it's just as functional. I think it's a fine EDC/lower profile lock back. It's not as tactical looking like some other knives but still a very practical EDC.
I let a coworker use my Folsom as he was tired and frustrated by the single-blade box cutters we have at work. He could see why I carry mine every day.
So I bought him this one as a gift. It's satisfying to see him use it every day.
Would [obviously] recommend this product.
A perfect EDC.
The deploy and the lockup are very smooth and exactly what you expect from an EDC knife. The micarta scales are wonderful. They feel soft to the touch but rugged, grippy and have surprisingly little give like a G10. The unit overall is pleasantly thin but ergonomic. I'd say it's closest rival is the Quietcarry, The Chase which I also really like. Great item, I'm very happy with my new Folsom.
