The James interpretation of the legendary liner-lock.
Featuring slim scales and a steel liner-lock, the Folsom is ready to be put through the paces. With an ambidextrous blade opening slot, a reversible clip, tip-up carry, and serious gripping power, this is a blade you'll find in your EDC on the regular.
I purchased the Folsom knife for my husband as a birthday gift, and he was ecstatic! The quality is superb, and he loved the black-on-black look! First time purchasing The James Brand, but won’t be our last!
The James Brand Folsom
Awesome product, beautifully made and seems it will endure well. The design is just great for edc and it can be found permanently in my pocket and used frequently.
Solid and simplistic edc blade
I’ve been a SAK knife guy for over 10 years with an occasional Kershaw here and there- Both really good tools for the money. Decided I wanted to treat myself to a higher end blade. Love the look of all the James blades and when I saw the Folsom it was a done deal. So for the knife itself... the blade is perfect length at under 3” and the drop point is on the best blade designs. The profile of the knife is slim in your pocket so not so bulky and the clip is strong so I think it’ll give me a few years before it needs to be replaced. The opening eye in the blade is perfect for ambidextrous opening. The bearings and opening of the knife are super smooth! Now to the micarta, I love micarta and have it on my outdoor knives. My only slight disappointment was how smooth it was. Micarta is supposed to have relief on it to give you that confident grip while wet. I assume it's really smooth due to less friction when deploying it from your pocket. That being said it’s a great looking knife that will serve me for years to with a modern and outdoor look morphed into one
What a wonderful knife, very well made.
