Maximum utility in our most minimal package.
The Elko comes equipped with a fully capable yet compact stainless steel blade and a pry bar that doubles as a key ring, bottle opener, screwdriver and pry tool – helping you stay prepared for whatever the day throws your way. A sleek form keep things minimal, while a serviceable construction ensures it will always be ready when you need it. Your keys just got a new best friend.
NOTE: The Bone + Black colorway will pick up the colors of your clothing, especially jeans. If you aren't into that you might make a different choice.
I expected much better quality for this price. The color of the scales does not look like in the pictures (I have OD Green Micarta). There are casting marks on the internal parts. The screws are recessed to different depths. The screw holes are not properly machined, causing the micarta fibers to protrude from them. The tip of the blade touches the body when pressed down in the closed state (this can easily happen in a pocket) and because of this, it becomes blunt. The back of the blade is skewed (angles are not 90/90 if you look at it from the tip, pointing the knife towards yourself). Even inner packaging has creases on it due to bad fit. I would return it, but sending it back overseas to the US seems not worth the effort.
Love my little knife!
My husband and son love collecting knives, so when I saw the Elko in the champagne color, I had to have one too! Honestly, the color drew me in. It's a beautiful, soft champagne pink hue. I attached one of the lanyards on the end and it's always in reach for quick use. It's easy for me to open and close and will slip into my purse and not take any space.
Echo a classic
Perfect weight and size. Strong and small. Tight and firm manufacturing.
Just what I was hoping for
Beautifully made, well thought out.....I love it!
Perfect for the online world
Every day, packages arrive. Mine. My wife's. Amazon. TJB (not often enough). EBay. Wine. Almost every one requires a blade to open, but why would I carry my big folder around the house, locked in as we effectively are right now? Now I have the Elko at all times. Beautifully made, almost flawless in its small, simple elegance. Black on black, mine, and warm from my pocket. Would I curve the blade root so it doesn't have an intermediate detent on opening? Hmmm. Not sure, but probably not, since when a design has a feeling of inevitability, I'm loathe to even think of tampering with it.
