With the Chapter, simple is significant.
It's the classic folding knife reimagined. The Titanium frame-lock construction is as simple as it gets, with minimal moving parts for a lifetime of low maintenance. The S35vn stainless steel blade holds an edge, resists corrosion and as is easy to care for. Available in a variety of blade types and finishes, the Chapter is a knife for a built for hard use and solid adventures. The knife we wanted to carry didn't exist, so we made it.
My first purchase but undoubtedly more to come. :)
Knife is really a gem of my collection
The knife is really a piece of pure craftsmanship. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is the belt clip. I'm one of those weirdos who never uses the belt clips and always store my knife in a sheath in my pocket. The Chapter has the belt clip mounted on a small block. I'm not sure the block is part of the knife or an add-on. Even if I did remove the block, the pivot screw goes through the it. This means I would either need to modify the length of the screw or contact "The James Brand" to see if they have a solution.
Love the knife, not so sure about the clip
I love the knife. The blade is easy to sharpen and holds it edge well. The pivot is smooth. The only problem I have is when I wear pants made out of a heavy material. When I do, the pocket clip is so tight that it takes two hands to get the knife in/out of my pocket.
Husband Looves it
My husband mentioned in passing a few weeks ago that he wanted a James brand Chapter knife, so I made a mental note to purchase one during the week of Black Friday. It was something that I know he would have never splurged on for himself, though the look on his face when he opened it was one of pure excitement and joy. Thank you for making a quality product that's not only beautiful, but functional as well!
The quality stands out the most.
