Mind meets hand.
The Benton uses a 304 stainless steel barrel design, which means you won’t crack your cartridge – keeping the ink where it’s meant to be, on the page. With its pusher-mounted lanyard, you can pull it from your pocket easily, or you can keep it at the ready with the PVD-coated steel pocket clip (or both). The Benton will become a staple of your everyday-carry before you know it.
Looks great, but the plunger action could be smoother
I purchased the James based on its unique design and attractive style. I also like the ceramic coating and would have opted for the white limited edition had it been available. My disappoint with the pen is the loose action when depressing the plunger – it does not feel smooth but rather sloppy. I have less expensive pens that feel smoother with what feels like better precision parts. I didn’t consider returning it because it looks spectacular, I just wish the action of the plunger was smoother.
A bit over priced
Expected a well machined writing implement for the price, but ended up just being a pen (which makes me end up reaching for the classic Pilot G-2 instead).
liked the first one so much ,had to have another.
Smooth. The holes on the frame feel a little cheap tho
