The knife and the pen are foundational parts of a solid everyday carry. No amount of technical innovation is going to replace the speed and ease of pulling your pen from your pocket and jotting down a note or drawing a quick sketch. It’s analog and visceral; it's the  critical link between your hand and your brain.

You’ve been asking us to make a pen for a couple of years now, and so we approached the design of the Benton like we approach everything else;  let's  keep what matters most, and jettison the rest. That's how we created the Benton. It's minimal, beautiful and highly-functional. You’re going to wonder how you lived without it.
