With the Chapter, simple is significant.
It's the classic folding knife reimagined. The Titanium frame-lock construction is as simple as it gets, with minimal moving parts for a lifetime of low maintenance. The S35vn stainless steel blade holds an edge, resists corrosion and as is easy to care for. Available in a variety of blade types and finishes, the Chapter is a knife for a built for hard use and solid adventures. The knife we wanted to carry didn't exist, so we made it.
Absolutely awesome product. Very impressed and extremely pleased with my knife
so i got a damascus chapter and one of the screws in the clip broke. i contacted the james brand and they took care of it and sent me an entire new knife. This new one is almost perfect. The edge is not centered, it leans to the right but the blade centering is just about at the center. Its also truly not all that sharp fresh out of the package either. Other than that there are no complaints
My first purchase but undoubtedly more to come. :)
Knife is really a gem of my collection
The knife is really a piece of pure craftsmanship. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is the belt clip. I'm one of those weirdos who never uses the belt clips and always store my knife in a sheath in my pocket. The Chapter has the belt clip mounted on a small block. I'm not sure the block is part of the knife or an add-on. Even if I did remove the block, the pivot screw goes through the it. This means I would either need to modify the length of the screw or contact "The James Brand" to see if they have a solution.
Love the knife, not so sure about the clip
I love the knife. The blade is easy to sharpen and holds it edge well. The pivot is smooth. The only problem I have is when I wear pants made out of a heavy material. When I do, the pocket clip is so tight that it takes two hands to get the knife in/out of my pocket.
